Biography: 

Yoga Shentu was a Master’s student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interests lie in ultrasound histotripsy and psychiatry. She previously worked in Early Emotion Development Program, where she performed EEG on preschoolers. During her undergraduate years, she and four teammates developed Biliblanket, a device that use electroluminescence to treat neonatal jaundice. She plans to do research on using ultrasound to perform biopsy in the future.

  • 1st place in Engineering World Health Design Competition, 2013
  • Washington University Undergraduate Research Award 2015
