Sarah (Yi) Zhang

Biography:

Sarah joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in 2021 as a masters student and is currently a PhD student in Dr. Chen’s lab. During her undergraduate experience, her research encompassed molecular genetics and gene regulation. Sarah’s research interests lie in investigating how the nervous and immune systems communicate with each other using focused ultrasound. During her free time, Sarah enjoys cooking, practicing Pilates, and going outdoors with friends.
