Biography:

Yan joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at WUSTL in 2019 and is currently a PhD candidate in Dr. Chen’s lab. She earned her Master’s Degree in 2019 and Bachelor’s Degree in 2017, both in Electrical Engineering at UC San Diego. Her previous expertise focused on digital signal and image processing, with the undergrad research on nighttime image enhancement and Master’s thesis on ultrasound image reconstruction. Her Master’s research also involved focused ultrasound neuromodulation.
