Dr. Shanshan Xu joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at WUSTL in Dec. 2016 as a visting scholar . She obtained her Doctor Degree in Biomedical Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2014. Her research interests include cavaition detection,mapping and characterization in ultrasound cavitation mediated therapeutic applications.
