Biography:

Leighton Wan joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at WUSTL as an undergraduate student in 2012. In the summer of 2015, he worked at the Mayo Clinic Graduate school of Medicine researching and developing an Ultrasound diagnostic method for osteopenia. Leighton joined the Chen Ultrasound Lab in the fall of 2015. He graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at the end of spring of 2016 and continued as a Research Technician in the Chen Ultrasound Lab for the 2016-2017 academic year.
He will next pursue his PhD in Bioengineering at Stanford University in fall of 2017.
