Hong Chen, assistant professor of biomedical engineering in the McKelvey School of Engineering and assistant professor of radiation oncology at the School of Medicine, has been awarded a $470,500 research grant from the Office of Naval Research. The award is for developing cavitation detection sensors for investigating microcavitation as a potential mechanism for traumatic brain injury.
