Academic Qualifications:

B.S. Electrical Engineering, University of California – San Diego, 2017

M.S. Electrical Engineering (with focus in biomedical systems), University of California – San Diego, 2019

Biography:

Lu Xu is current a Ph.D. candidate in the Hong Chen Ultrasound Lab. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a focus in biomedical system in 2019 and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2017, both from UC San Diego. His research focuses on the development of a clinical transcranial Focused Ultrasound (tFUS) system. He is particularly interested in finding new solutions to some of the biomedical engineering challenges through the angle of an electrical engineering background.
