Position Summary: The Chen Ultrasound Laboratory (https://chenultrasoundlab.wustl.edu/) at Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) are looking for scientists to join our multidisciplinary team. The position is open to applicants at multiple levels, including the staff scientist, technician, and post-doc. The mission of our lab is to develop innovative ultrasound techniques for improving the lives of patients with brain diseases. Current NIH-funded projects in our lab include: 1) Developing brain drug delivery techniques for the treatment of brain cancer, 2) Developing brain tumor liquid biopsy technique for the diagnosis of brain cancer, and 3) Developing brain stimulation technique for understanding brain functions. The candidate is expected to have expertise in engineering, neuroscience, cancer biology, or molecular biology. Knowledge in medical ultrasound is not required.
Required Qualifications: Motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals with training in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, molecular biology, cancer genetics, cancer biology, or other closely related areas are welcome to apply. Research experience in ultrasound and engineering is not required.
